About/Contact
Greetings! I appreciate you taking a moment to view my work. My name is Josh Belanger and I am a Social Studies Teacher and Wilderness Photographer who currently works and resides in Grand Rapids, MI.
It is my belief that through photography people can enhance their relationship with nature and learn to appreciate the natural landscapes of wherever they call home. My goal is to showcase the natural, wild landscapes that the state of Michigan has to offer with a focus on woodlands, lakes, waterfalls, and rivers. The majority of my work is created in the various Wilderness Areas, National (and State) Forests, and State Parks located throughout the state of Michigan and beyond.
I currently shoot with a Fujifilm X-T5 with Fujifilm lenses XF 16-55 f/2.8, and XF 70-300 f/4-5.6. I use a FLM CP30-L4 II tripod with a Really Right Stuff BH-30 ballhead. I carry my camera gear (except when backpacking) in an F-Stop Lotus 4 Core 28L bag.
If you would like to support my work and follow along on my photography adventures, I can be found on Instagram and Facebook where I am routinely posting new images. For any and all inquiries, please contact me at jbelanger1203@gmail.com.
